What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchise approval is contingent upon the results of a background and credit check. The franchisor, in its sole discretion, determines suitability based on these checks.
Specifically, after submission to a background and credit check, Crisp & Green may reserve a Preliminary Designated Area exclusively for the applicant. This reservation lasts until the earlier of 30 calendar days following confirmation of the background check submission, or Crisp & Green's determination that the applicant is unsuitable based on the background check results.
Additionally, the applicant represents and warrants that neither they nor their Principal Owners have made any untrue statement of any material fact or has omitted to state any material fact in obtaining the rights granted hereunder; (b) neither you nor any of your Principal Owners has any direct or indirect legal or beneficial interest in any business that may be deemed a Competitive Business, except as otherwise completely and accurately disclosed in your franchise application submitted to us; and (c) the execution and performance of this Agreement will not violate any other agreement to which you or of any of your Principal Owners may be bound. You recognize that we have approved your franchise application.
This process highlights the importance of transparency and financial responsibility in the eyes of Crisp & Green when selecting franchisees. A prospective franchisee should ensure they meet these criteria and are prepared for a thorough review of their background and credit history.
