2.01 Grant of Franchise. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Approved Location' refers to the specific site of the Crepe De Licious Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck. If a location has been selected and approved when signing the Franchise Agreement, it will be listed on Attachment A-1. This attachment also specifies the territory associated with that location.
If a specific site hasn't been approved upon signing, Attachment A will include a 'General Description' of the area. However, this general description doesn't grant any territorial rights and is only for reference. Crepe De Licious retains the right to sell other franchises within that general area.
After Crepe De Licious approves a location, the specifics of the 'Approved Location' and its territory will be documented in Attachment A-1. The territory is determined by the restaurant's location. If the franchisee doesn't agree with the assigned territory, they can choose another site, which will lead to a new territory proposal. This process ensures that the franchisee has an opportunity to find a location and territory that meets their needs and expectations.
