What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crepe De Licious Franchise Disclosure Document, the final territory definition is based on the current population, geographic, and demographic properties at the time of purchase. Any unreserved territory remains available for sale to other franchisees.

Before a franchise agreement is signed, a prospective franchisee can reserve a territory by entering into a Territory Reservation Agreement and paying a non-refundable Territory Reservation Fee of $10,000. This secures a hold on the designated territory until a specified date, by which time the purchase of the Crepe De Licious franchise must be completed. If the prospective franchisee does not sign a franchise agreement by the agreed-upon date, Crepe De Licious is entitled to retain the entire Territory Reservation Fee and is free to sell the territory to another prospect.

Crepe De Licious retains significant rights regarding the use of their marks and system, including the right to operate businesses using the marks and system outside the franchisee's territory, even if it impacts the franchisee's business. They can also utilize third-party delivery and ghost kitchen companies within or adjacent to the franchisee's territory without compensating the franchisee. Furthermore, Crepe De Licious can sell proprietary items through various retail locations within or outside the territory.
