What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase the POS (Point of Sale) system and digital signage displays from approved or designated suppliers. These suppliers must meet the specifications outlined in Crepe De Licious's Operations Manual. Additionally, franchisees are required to purchase Ecolab brand chemicals, including dishwasher, floor and surface cleaner, washroom, and hand sanitizer products, through approved or designated distributors that also meet the Operations Manual specifications.

Crepe De Licious also mandates the use of specific computer programs and related materials developed for the operation of its franchises, including the POS system software. Franchisees must acquire computer systems from designated suppliers and utilize the specified computer hardware and software, including the point-of-sale system. This includes obtaining software licenses, maintenance, support services, and other related services from suppliers specified by Crepe De Licious, which may include the franchisor or its affiliates.

These requirements ensure uniformity and quality control across all Crepe De Licious franchise locations. While using approved suppliers might limit a franchisee's options and potentially increase costs, it also ensures that the products and systems used meet Crepe De Licious's standards. Franchisees should carefully review the Operations Manual and any related documents to understand the specific requirements and specifications for these purchases. It is also important to note that Crepe De Licious may receive revenue or rebates from these approved suppliers, which could influence their selection.
