What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Crepe De Licious Franchise Disclosure Document, the Royalty Fee is due on the 5th day of each month. This payment covers the immediately preceding month's Gross Revenues. The Royalty Fee is 6% of Gross Revenues. Crepe De Licious franchisees must pay this ongoing fee to maintain the right to use the Crepe De Licious Marks and intellectual property, and it also covers the ongoing support and assistance provided by the franchisor.
Franchisees should be aware that "Gross Revenues" includes all revenues from the sale of products and services, including the full redemption value of gift certificates or coupons. It excludes sales taxes remitted to the appropriate taxing authority and bona fide refunds made to customers. Gross Revenues are considered received when the products or services are delivered or the sale takes place, regardless of when final payment is received.
Crepe De Licious requires franchisees to make these payments via electronic funds transfer (EFT). If a franchisee fails to report their Gross Revenues on time, Crepe De Licious is authorized to debit the franchisee's account for either the fees transferred from the last reporting period or an estimated amount due.
