What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crepe De Licious may require franchisees to use an intranet system for communications, reports, and other functions. Franchisees must comply with these requirements. This suggests that Crepe De Licious has the ability to mandate the use of specific systems for submitting reports. However, the FDD does not explicitly state that Crepe De Licious can demand franchisees to certify the accuracy and completeness of these reports.

While the FDD excerpt confirms Crepe De Licious's authority to require specific reporting methods, it does not address whether they can legally compel a franchisee to certify the reports' accuracy. This detail is crucial for prospective franchisees as it determines the extent of their liability regarding the information submitted to Crepe De Licious.

Therefore, it remains unclear whether Crepe De Licious can enforce a certification of accuracy for franchisee-submitted reports. A prospective franchisee should seek clarification from Crepe De Licious regarding this specific requirement to fully understand their obligations and potential liabilities.
