What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are several obligations that must be fulfilled before opening your Crepe De Licious business. Crepe De Licious must provide written notification that all pre-opening obligations have been met. The franchisee and their designated manager, if applicable, must complete the Initial Training Program to Crepe De Licious's satisfaction. All amounts due to Crepe De Licious must be paid.
Copies of all required insurance policies and certificates must be furnished to Crepe De Licious, or other documentation of insurance coverage and payment of premiums that Crepe De Licious requests. The franchisee must notify Crepe De Licious that all approvals and conditions stated in the Franchise Agreement have been met. All required permits and licenses must be obtained. Finally, the franchisee must order, receive, and install all fixtures, equipment, supplies, inventory, and the computer system.
Once these obligations are met, the franchisee must be prepared to begin operating the Crepe De Licious business immediately after Crepe De Licious states that the business is ready for opening. The typical length of time between signing the Franchise Agreement and opening the Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck can vary from five to 12 months. The franchisee must schedule the opening of their Crepe de licious Business within 12 months after signing the Franchise Agreement. Failure to do so will result in an Opening Extension Fee until the business opens.
