What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Training Program is conducted either at their headquarters in Concord, Ontario, Canada; at a Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck operated by a franchisee or their affiliate; or at another location they designate, at their sole discretion.

Crepe De Licious provides initial training at no charge for up to three people, including the franchisee, their designated manager, and a third person of their choosing. The franchisee and, if applicable, their designated manager, must complete the Initial Training Program to Crepe De Licious's satisfaction at least two weeks before opening their business. There is a training fee of $2,000 for each additional person trained.

The training schedule is conducted on an as-needed basis, and the company reserves the right to vary the length and content of the Initial Training Program based upon the experience and skill level of the individual attending. The training subjects may vary, and the training may be less than the times indicated, depending on the number and experience of the attendees. Crepe De Licious uses the Operations Manual as the primary instruction materials during the Initial Training Program.

In addition to the initial training, Crepe De Licious may require franchisees, designated managers, and other employees to attend system-wide refresher or additional training courses. If a new designated manager is appointed, that person must attend and successfully complete the Initial Training Program before assuming responsibility for the management of the Crepe de licious Business. If an inspection of the Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck determines that the franchisee is not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, they may be required to attend remedial training that addresses their operational deficiencies.
