What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crepe De Licious Franchise Disclosure Document, if you sign an Area Development Agreement, you must pay an Area Development Fee. This fee is calculated as $35,000 multiplied by the number of Crepe De Licious restaurants you commit to develop under the agreement.

Beyond the Area Development Fee, the FDD states that the estimated initial investment expenditures for a single Crepe De Licious unit will also apply. These costs may increase over time or change based on circumstances. These costs include the initial franchise fee, design fee, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural fees, real estate agent fees, rent, security deposit, utility deposit and additional storage, leasehold improvements, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, initial inventory and supplies, insurance, business licenses and permits, professional fees, signage, office equipment and supplies, grand opening promotion, uniforms, initial training expenses, POS set-up fee, digital signage displays and set-up, license and maintenance fees, miscellaneous opening expenses, and additional funds.

The FDD notes that if you sign an Area Development Agreement, your professional fees, such as legal and financial, may be higher than those for a single franchise unit, but the exact amount cannot be predicted by Crepe De Licious.
