What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their franchise in strict accordance with the methods, standards, and specifications outlined in the Operations Manual. A franchisee is prohibited from deviating from these methods, standards, and specifications without obtaining prior written consent from Crepe De Licious. Additionally, franchisees must not operate in any manner that reflects negatively on the Crepe De Licious marks or the overall system. Failure to comply with these standards by using any unapproved item or service will result in the franchisee being required to pay an Unauthorized Product or Service Fee to Crepe De Licious.

This requirement ensures uniformity and quality control across all Crepe De Licious franchise locations. The Operations Manual serves as the definitive guide for how the business should be run, covering various aspects of operation through different media formats. Crepe De Licious retains the right to modify these standards, specifications, and guidelines, communicating any changes through amendments or supplements to the Operations Manual or via written communication.

For a prospective franchisee, this means adhering closely to the established operational procedures and seeking approval before implementing any changes. The Unauthorized Product or Service Fee acts as a deterrent against unauthorized deviations, reinforcing the importance of maintaining brand consistency. Franchisees should regularly review updates to the Operations Manual to stay informed of any modifications to the standards and specifications. This also highlights the importance of open communication with Crepe De Licious to ensure compliance and avoid potential penalties.
