What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their business in strict accordance with the methods, standards, and specifications outlined in the Operations Manual. A franchisee is prohibited from operating in any manner that reflects negatively on Crepe De Licious's Marks or the System. This means franchisees must adhere to the brand's established procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and protect the brand's reputation. Deviation from these standards requires prior written consent from Crepe De Licious.

This restriction ensures that all Crepe De Licious locations maintain a consistent brand image and quality of service. By adhering to the Operations Manual, franchisees contribute to the overall reputation and goodwill of the Crepe De Licious brand. Failure to comply with these standards can result in penalties, as the FDD states that using any unapproved item or service will result in an Unauthorized Product or Service Fee.

For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding and adhering to the Operations Manual. It also emphasizes the need to seek approval for any deviations from the established standards. This requirement is typical in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain quality control and protect the brand's image across all locations. Franchisees should carefully review the Operations Manual and communicate with Crepe De Licious to ensure compliance and avoid any actions that could reflect negatively on the brand.
