What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crepe De Licious Franchise Disclosure Document, a Restaurant or Kiosk must be located at a specific, approved location. This location is agreed upon by both the franchisee and Crepe De Licious, and it is documented in Attachment A to the Franchise Agreement. If a specific site hasn't been approved when the agreement is signed, Attachment A will provide a general description of the area. However, this general description doesn't grant any territory rights and is only for reference. Crepe De Licious retains the right to sell other franchises in that general area.

Once Crepe De Licious approves a location, it will complete Attachment A-1 with the approved location and the territory details. The territory is determined by the location of the Restaurant or Kiosk. The franchisee will be presented with the territory details once the site is identified. If the franchisee doesn't accept the proposed territory, they can choose another site, and Crepe De Licious will provide a new territory based on the new site.

For a Crepe De Licious Food Truck, the FDD states that it must always be located within the Territory. This means that while the Restaurant or Kiosk has a fixed location, the Food Truck has some mobility but is restricted to operating within the defined Territory. This provides some flexibility in reaching customers but also limits the area of operation.
