What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, both Crepe De Licious itself and the local municipality must approve the location for a Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck. The franchise agreement specifies that the grant of the franchise is limited to a single Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck at a specific, approved location. This location is detailed in Attachment A of the Franchise Agreement.
If a specific site hasn't been chosen when the agreement is signed, Attachment A will provide a general description of the location. After Crepe De Licious approves a site, it will complete Attachment A-1 with the approved location and territory details. The franchisee can then either accept the territory or choose another site.
This dual approval process—requiring both franchisor and local municipality consent—is typical in franchising. It ensures that the location meets Crepe De Licious's standards for viability and also complies with local zoning and regulatory requirements. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Attachment A and A-1 once completed to fully understand the approved location and any associated territory rights.
