What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the territory for a Food Truck is not exclusive and may be revised at any time during the Franchise Agreement, at the sole discretion of Crepe De Licious. This differs from the territory provided for a Restaurant or Kiosk, which is based on an Approved Location. The Food Truck territory is based on an assigned list of zip codes.
This means that as a Crepe De Licious Food Truck franchisee, you do not have an exclusive territory, and Crepe De Licious can change your territory at any point during the agreement. This could potentially impact your business if the territory is reduced or altered in a way that affects your customer base. It is important to note that the FDD states that you may face competition from other franchisees, outlets owned by Crepe De Licious, other channels of distribution, or competitive brands controlled by Crepe De Licious.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of this revision clause and the non-exclusive nature of the territory. It would be prudent to discuss with Crepe De Licious the factors that might lead to a revision of the territory and how such revisions have been handled in the past with other Food Truck franchisees. Understanding these potential changes is crucial for assessing the risks and opportunities associated with a Crepe De Licious Food Truck franchise.
