What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a prospective franchisee must sign the "Territory Reservation Agreement and Receipt" to reserve a territory. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the territory is held for the prospective franchisee.
The Territory Reservation Agreement requires the prospective franchisee to pay a non-refundable Territory Reservation Fee of $10,000. This fee secures the designated territory until a specified date, by which the purchase of the Crepe De Licious franchise must be completed. The final territory definition will be based on the current population, geographic, and demographic properties at the time of purchase.
If the prospective franchisee does not sign a franchise agreement by the specified date, Crepe De Licious has the right to retain the entire Territory Reservation Fee as compensation for holding the territory. Additionally, Crepe De Licious is then free to reserve or sell the territory to another prospective franchisee. The document also acknowledges that the prospective franchisee has waited the required federal and state waiting periods, but no sooner than 14 calendar days after receiving the Franchise Disclosure Document, before signing the Territory Reservation Agreement and paying the Territory Reservation Fee.
