What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Computer System that franchisees are required to use must generate reports on the Gross Revenues of their Crepe De Licious franchise. The computer system manages the daily workflow, coordinates customer ordering, and tracks inventory and labor. Franchisees must record all gross revenues on the computer system and store all data and information designated by Crepe De Licious, reporting it in the manner specified by the franchisor.
This requirement ensures that Crepe De Licious can accurately monitor each franchise's sales performance and calculate royalties and advertising fees, which are typically based on a percentage of gross revenues. It also allows Crepe De Licious to maintain consistent data across all franchise locations, aiding in overall system management and strategic decision-making.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they must ensure the computer system is properly set up and maintained to accurately track and report gross revenues. Failure to comply with these reporting requirements could result in penalties or even termination of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should also be aware that Crepe De Licious may revise the specifications for the computer system periodically, requiring upgrades or replacements at the franchisee's cost.
