What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crepe De Licious Franchise Disclosure Document, the classroom training may be conducted either wholly or partly online. This provides flexibility for both the franchisor and the franchisee, potentially reducing travel costs and time commitments.

The initial training program is provided at no charge for up to three people, including the franchisee, their designated manager, and a third person of their choosing. However, the franchisee must pay a fee of $2,000 for training each additional person. This initial training is conducted either at the Crepe De Licious headquarters in Concord, Ontario, Canada, at a Restaurant, Kiosk, or Food Truck operated by a franchisee or affiliate, or at another location designated by the franchisor.

In addition to the initial training, Crepe De Licious also requires completion of a training program with the POS system provider and Ecolab, their supplier of cleaning products and sanitizers, before opening the business. As of the issuance date of the FDD, the POS training is online, and Ecolab provides on-site or online training. Neither vendor charges for this training, but they retain discretion regarding the cost, methods, and frequency of training.
