What assistance and consultation does Crepe De Licious deem advisable regarding required furnishings?

e de licious restaurants and kiosks (each a "Crepe Delicious Restaurant") which make and sell some or all of the following: crepe-based dishes and other specialty food items, gelato, beverage items and other items. We also have the right to use and to license to our franchisees certain service marks, trademarks, trade names, trade dress, logos, slogans and commercial symbols used to identify the restaurant or kiosk or particular items and services offered (collectively, the "Marks").
- B. The distinguishing characteristics of the System include distinctive exterior and interior design, decor, color schemes, fixtures, and furnishings; recipes, standards and specifications for products, equipment, materials, and supplies; uniform standards, specifications, and procedures for operations; purchasing and sourcing procedures; procedures for inventory and management control; training and assistance; and marketing and promotional programs; all of which may be changed, improved, and further developed by Franchisor from time to time.
- C. The System is identified by means of certain indicia of origin, emblems, trade names, service marks, logos, and trademarks, including applications and/or registrations therefor, as are now designated and may hereafter be designated by Franchisor in writing for use in connection with the System including the marks "Crepe Delicious" and other marks (the "Marks").
- D. Area Developer desires to obtain certain development rights to open and operate Crepe Delicious Restaurants under the System and the Marks, as well as to receive other assistance provided by Franchisor in connection therewith.
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:

According to Crepe De Licious's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise system's distinguishing characteristics include distinctive exterior and interior design, decor, color schemes, fixtures, and furnishings. Crepe De Licious may provide franchisees with site selection counseling and assistance as the Franchisor deems advisable. Additionally, Crepe De Licious may provide on-site evaluation in response to the Area Developer's request for site approval for each Franchised Restaurant.
Crepe De Licious will provide System Standards for items and services, their list of approved items and services, and their list of approved suppliers. Crepe De Licious and/or its affiliates may be the sole approved suppliers for certain approved items and services, and that they and their affiliates may derive revenues as a result of the franchisee's purchase of approved items and services either from them or from rebates from suppliers.
Prospective franchisees should note that Crepe De Licious retains discretion over what assistance and consultation it deems advisable. Franchisees are obligated to use approved suppliers, which may generate revenue for Crepe De Licious. This arrangement is common in franchising, allowing franchisors to maintain quality control and brand consistency, but franchisees should carefully evaluate the costs and benefits of using approved suppliers.
