What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Creative World School Franchise Disclosure Document, the System Standards do regulate periodic painting of the school. Creative World School requires franchisees to operate and maintain their schools according to the System Standards, which are periodically modified and supplemented. These standards are essential for preserving the goodwill of the Creative World School brand and all its schools.
The System Standards cover various aspects of the school's operation, including construction, design, layout, decor, appearance, playground surface and equipment, and lighting. Specifically, the standards address periodic maintenance, cleaning, sanitation, remodeling, replacement of obsolete items, and periodic painting. They also govern the use of interior and exterior signs, emblems, lettering, logos, and illumination.
This means that as a franchisee, you must adhere to Creative World School's guidelines regarding when and how the school is painted. This ensures uniformity and maintains the brand's image across all locations. The franchisor has the authority to enforce these standards, and failure to comply could be a breach of the franchise agreement. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the System Standards detailed in the manuals to understand the specific requirements for maintaining the school's appearance.
