What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Creative World School FDD, the company uses specific trademarks, service marks, logos, and commercial symbols to operate its schools. These include the trade and service mark "CREATIVE WORLD SCHOOL®" and the design mark described as "CHILDREN AND GLOBE." Creative World School also uses associated logos, designs, artwork, and trade dress. These marks have gained public acceptance and goodwill, and Creative World School may create, use, and license additional trademarks, copyrighted works, art, service marks, and commercial symbols in the future.
As a franchisee, you must use these marks as the sole identification of your school, while also identifying yourself as the independent owner in a manner prescribed by Creative World School. You cannot remove, destroy, cover, or alter this notice without prior consent from Creative World School.
Furthermore, you are prohibited from using any mark as part of your corporate or legal business name or with any unauthorized modifications, terms, designs, or symbols. Additionally, the marks cannot be used in advertising concerning the transfer, sale, or other disposition of the school or an ownership interest in your franchise.
As a franchisee, you must display the marks prominently at the school, on designated supplies and materials, and in connection with forms, advertising, and marketing materials. You are also responsible for providing notices of trade and service mark registrations as specified by Creative World School and obtaining any fictitious or assumed name registrations required by applicable law. You must immediately notify Creative World School of any apparent infringement or challenge to the use of any mark and agree to cooperate in any legal or administrative proceedings to protect the marks.
