What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Creative World School FDD, there are several time-sensitive requirements related to school development. A franchisee must commence development of their school within 9 months of signing the Franchise Agreement. Following this, the franchisee is expected to complete construction and open the school for business within 12 months of the Construction Approval Date, which is the date Creative World School approves the franchisee's construction plans.
Creative World School also outlines a process for franchisees who experience delays in obtaining necessary permits. Franchisees can request up to six 30-day extensions if they have diligently applied for all required permits, but delays occur due to reasons beyond their control. To be eligible for these extensions, franchisees must submit documentation of the status of their permit applications at least 10 days before each extension is requested.
Furthermore, franchisees must submit their construction plans to Creative World School for approval within 120 days of the site approval date. Creative World School then has 60 days to either approve or disapprove these plans. These timelines are crucial for franchisees to manage their project effectively and avoid potential breaches of the franchise agreement. Missing deadlines could lead to penalties or termination of the agreement, so careful planning and adherence to these timeframes are essential for a successful launch of a Creative World School franchise.
