Who owns the data collected from the Creative World School franchisee's Computer System?

You must cooperate with us, and must execute all documents required by us to permit access to your Computer System and data contained therein.
The reporting requirements set forth in this Section are in addition to and not in lieu of any other reporting requirements set forth under this Agreement.
- (g) Any and all data collected or provided by you, downloaded from your Computer System, and otherwise collected from your system by us and/or provided to us is and shall be owned exclusively by us, and we will have the right to use such data in any manner that we deem appropriate without compensation to you; however, you are, under this Agreement, licensed (without any additional fee) to use such data solely for the purpose of operating the School, and such license will automatically and irrevocably expire when this Agreement terminates or expires, without additional notice.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Creative World School Franchise Disclosure Document, Creative World School owns the data collected from the franchisee's computer system. The franchisee must cooperate with Creative World School and execute all required documents to permit access to the computer system and the data within it.
Creative World School has the exclusive right to any and all data collected or provided by the franchisee, downloaded from the franchisee's computer system, or otherwise collected from the system. Creative World School can use this data in any manner they deem appropriate without providing any compensation to the franchisee.
However, the franchisee is licensed to use the data for the sole purpose of operating their Creative World School. This license terminates automatically and irrevocably when the Franchise Agreement expires or terminates, without any additional notice. This means that upon termination of the franchise agreement, the franchisee loses all rights to use the data that was collected during the term of the agreement.
