If you wish to purchase any items that do not comply with our System Standards or are to be purchased from a supplier that has not yet been approved, you can make a written request to us with sufficient information, specifications and samples for our determination whether the item complies with System Standards or the supplier meets approved supplier criteria. Based on information obtained by inspection, testing of samples, and other factors, we will determine whether the proposed suppliers, products or services are acceptable. Generally, we will, within 90 days of the date you provide us all of the information we request, notify you of our decision.
You or the supplier must pay the reasonable cost of this inspection and testing. Our approval may be revoked at any time if the supplier, product or service ceases to meet our then-current standards. We may limit the number of approved suppliers with whom you may deal, designate sources that you must use, and/or refuse any of your requests for any reason.
