What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Creative World School FDD, before franchisees submit their construction plans, Creative World School will provide prototype design plans, specifications, decor and layout for a school. This includes requirements for design, color scheme, image, interior and exterior layout, playground and parking layout, and operating assets. Operating assets include fixtures, equipment, signs, and furnishings.

While Creative World School furnishes these prototype plans, the franchisee is responsible for having complete construction plans prepared by an architect. These plans must suit the site's dimensions, comply with local ordinances, building codes, permit requirements, and lease restrictions. The franchisee bears the expense of preparing these construction plans.

This means that Creative World School provides a starting point and overall vision for the school's design, but the franchisee must then adapt these prototypes to their specific location and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. This division of responsibility is fairly typical in franchising, where the franchisor provides brand standards and the franchisee handles local implementation.
