What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Creative World School FDD, franchisees are not allowed to make unauthorized copies of the manuals. The Creative World School manuals are considered proprietary and must be treated as confidential. The franchisor loans one copy of the manuals (either physically or online) to the franchisee for use in operating the schools.

These manuals contain mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules, which Creative World School prescribes for the operation of a school. These standards, along with information relating to the franchisee's obligations under the Franchise Agreement, are referred to as "System Standards."

Given that the manuals are proprietary and franchisees are prohibited from making unauthorized copies, it is important for prospective franchisees to understand the scope and content of these manuals during their due diligence. Franchisees should also clarify with Creative World School what constitutes an 'unauthorized' copy and whether there are any circumstances under which copying may be permitted, such as for internal training purposes with proper safeguards.
