Creative_World_School Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must open the School for business within 12 months of the Construction Approval Date (the "Opening Date").
If you have timely and diligently made full and complete applications for all building permits, licenses, and all other permits required to open and operate a School, we may grant to you up to six 30 day extensions to obtain all necessary permits, provided that the delays are due to causes beyond your reasonable control.
You must submit documentation of the status of all applications necessary to develop and operate the School, as applicable, at least 10 days prior to the date of each 30-day extension you request.
The date of our approval of the Construction Plans is referred to as the "Construction Approval Date."

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Creative World School Franchise Disclosure Document, the opening date of a school is directly dependent on the Construction Approval Date. Specifically, a franchisee must open their Creative World School for business within 12 months of the Construction Approval Date. The Construction Approval Date is defined as the date that Creative World School approves the franchisee's construction plans.
This stipulation means that a delay in obtaining construction approval will directly impact the timeline for opening the school. The FDD states that Creative World School will approve or disapprove the construction plans within 60 days of receiving complete plans. Franchisees need to factor in this approval timeline, as well as the construction timeline, to ensure they meet the 12-month deadline for opening their Creative World School.
Creative World School may grant extensions to this 12-month period under certain conditions. If the franchisee has diligently applied for all necessary permits and licenses to open and operate the school, Creative World School may grant up to six 30-day extensions, provided the delays are due to causes beyond the franchisee's reasonable control. To request an extension, the franchisee must submit documentation of the status of all applications at least 10 days prior to the date of each requested extension. This highlights the importance of proactive permit and license management to avoid delays and maintain eligibility for potential extensions.
