To simplify the language in this franchise disclosure document (this "Disclosure Document"), "franchisor," "we," "us," or "our" means Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams Franchise, LLC, the franchisor. "You" means the person or entity who buys the franchise from us. If you are a corporation, partnership, limited liability company, or other business entity, your owners will have to guarantee your obligations and be bound by the provisions of the Franchise Agreement (as defined below) and Area Development Agreement (as defined below), and other agreements as described in this Disclosure Document.
We are an Ohio limited liability company. We began offering franchises of the type described in this Disclosure Document in August 2025. We do business under our corporate name, as "Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams," and as "Jeni's." We do not own or operate any Jeni's Ice Creams Scoop Shops (as defined below), though our affiliates do. We do not offer franchises in any other line of business.
