What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cream franchisees must participate in quality assurance and customer satisfaction programs. Cream will provide guidance on this aspect of operating a Cream shop. Cream may also offer general advice regarding the operation of the shop, including System Standards and other suggested standards, specifications, and operating procedures and methods.
Cream may modify, substitute, add, or discontinue the use of any Marks or the System. Franchisees must make modifications and updates as specified by Cream and comply with all other directions given regarding the use of the Marks and the System in connection with their shop within a reasonable time after receiving notice from Cream. Cream is not required to reimburse franchisees for any costs or expenses associated with making such changes.
Cream will make the brand manual for the operation of Cream shops available to franchisees during the term, which may include one or more separate manuals, newsletters, memos, or bulletins, as well any audio or video content, and/or other content available through or distributed by any Digital Presence or other electronic or digital means. The Brand Manual contains mandatory specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules that Cream periodically prescribes for operating Cream shops, other specifications, standards, and policies Cream may suggest from time to time, and information on franchisees' obligations under the Agreement.
