What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a person or entity who assists, sponsors, or supports terrorists or acts of terrorism, or is owned or controlled by terrorists or sponsors of terrorism is prohibited from becoming a Cream franchisee. Cream requires franchisees to represent and warrant that neither they nor any of their owners, employees, agents, or representatives, nor any other person or entity associated with them, is or has been involved in such activities. This representation is an express consideration for the franchise granted by Cream.
Cream also requires that franchisees comply with U.S. anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws and regulations. Franchisees must ensure that any funds provided to Cream or its affiliates are legally obtained in compliance with these laws. Furthermore, franchisees must agree not to take any action that would cause them to become a target of such laws and regulations during the term of the franchise agreement.
This policy reflects Cream's commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Prospective franchisees should carefully review these requirements and ensure that they meet all of Cream's standards before entering into a franchise agreement. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in the termination of the franchise agreement.
