Cream Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We may authorize you to offer off-site products or services from your Shop, including delivery and/or catering. If we authorize you to offer any off-site products or services from your Shop, you must comply with all of our System Standards that we establish for such products and services, which may include geographic limitations for where you may offer such products and services. We may modify our System Standards, including geographic limitations, for off-site products and services at any time with notice to you. Other than off-site services we have expressly approved, you may operate your Shop only at the Premises.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally restricted to operating their Cream shop at a specific, approved location. Cream may authorize franchisees to offer off-site products or services, such as delivery or catering, but these are subject to specific System Standards and potential geographic limitations.

In practical terms, this means that a Cream franchisee's primary business location is the physical "Premises" approved by Cream. Franchisees cannot operate a Cream shop from any other location without express authorization from Cream, ensuring brand consistency and quality control.

This restriction is common in franchise systems to maintain uniformity and prevent unauthorized operations that could damage the brand. A prospective Cream franchisee should clarify the conditions under which off-site services are approved and any associated geographic limitations to fully understand their operational boundaries.
