What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor can modify the Initial Training Program fee. As of the effective date of the FDD, the fee is $1,000 per attendee. Cream can modify this fee by up to 10% per year on a compounding basis.
This means that the cost of training could increase over time. For example, if the fee increases by 10% in the first year, the new fee would be $1,100. If it increases by another 10% the following year, the fee would be $1,210, and so on. This compounding effect can lead to a significant increase in training costs over several years.
It is important for prospective Cream franchisees to factor in potential increases in the Initial Training Program fee when budgeting for their franchise. They should also inquire about the frequency and magnitude of past fee increases to get a better understanding of how this fee may change in the future. This information can help franchisees plan for and manage their training expenses more effectively.
