What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Attachment C to the Franchise Agreement requires the franchisee to identify the specific location, or Premises, of their Cream shop. The document specifies that franchisees may only operate their shop at the location listed on Attachment C, unless they have received prior approval from Cream for off-premises services.
If the Premises have not been approved when the Franchise Agreement is signed, the franchisee must select a site within the designated Site Selection Area. The franchisee agrees to use the Premises exclusively for their Cream shop and not for any other business activities without express approval from Cream.
This requirement ensures that Cream franchisees operate only from approved locations, maintaining brand consistency and controlling the customer experience. It also protects Cream's brand image and prevents franchisees from engaging in unauthorized business activities that could dilute the brand or confuse customers. Franchisees should carefully review the site selection criteria and approval process to ensure compliance with Cream's standards.
