What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are indeed required to complete all grand opening advertising according to the plan approved by Cream. The FDD specifies that a franchisee must submit a grand opening marketing program plan to Cream for approval at least 75 days before the expected opening date.

Cream requires a minimum spend of $20,000 for the grand opening advertising program, which is in addition to any other advertising expenses required under the Franchise Agreement. This grand opening advertising expenditure does not count towards the Brand Fund Contribution.

Cream also mandates that franchisees use specific media, materials, programs, and strategies that they require for the grand opening advertising program. This ensures that all advertising efforts align with Cream's brand standards and marketing strategies. Failing to adhere to the approved plan and required elements could result in non-compliance with the franchise agreement.
