What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as of the effective date of the document, the additional training fee is $500 per trainer per day. This fee may be charged if a franchisee requests additional or special guidance, assistance, or training from Cream, or if Cream determines that a franchisee is not operating their shop in compliance with the System Standards and requires additional training for the Mandatory Trainees.
This fee covers the cost of the trainer's time. In addition to this fee, the franchisee must also reimburse Cream and its representatives for all costs associated with providing the training, including travel, food, accommodations, and living expenses. This means the total cost of additional training can be significantly higher than just the per-day trainer fee.
It's important to note that Cream may modify the amount of the per-day additional training fee by up to 10% per year on a compounding basis. This means that the fee could increase over time, so prospective franchisees should factor in potential future increases when budgeting for ongoing training and support.
