What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cream's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests and Cream agrees to provide additional or special guidance, assistance, or training, Cream may charge its then-current additional training fee. In addition to this fee, the franchisee must reimburse Cream and its representatives for all costs associated with providing the guidance, assistance, or training. These reimbursable costs include travel, food, accommodations, and living expenses.
Furthermore, if Cream determines that a franchisee is not operating their shop in compliance with the System Standards, Cream may require additional training for the franchisee's Mandatory Trainees. In this case, Cream may charge its then-current additional training fee, which is currently $500 per trainer per day, plus reimbursement of Cream's costs and expenses.
This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the direct training fees but also for potential travel and living expenses for Cream's trainers or representatives. The cost can vary significantly depending on the location of the training, the duration, and the number of trainers involved. Franchisees should maintain compliance with Cream's System Standards to avoid incurring additional training fees and associated costs.
