What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Cream makes its Brand Manual available to franchisees both before opening their shop and during the operation of the shop. Specifically, Cream will continue to make the Brand Manual available during the operation of the shop, and will also offer prospective franchisees the opportunity to view the Brand Manual before buying the franchise, upon request.
The Brand Manual contains System Standards, suggested specifications, standards and procedures, and information for operating a Jeni's Ice Creams Scoop Shop. The manual may include separate manuals, newsletters, memos, bulletins, audio or video content, and other content available through digital or electronic means.
Cream also uses the Brand Manual as part of its training materials. The training team is led by the Vice President of Shops, and the training materials include the Brand Manual and other training and operations materials and manuals. This suggests the Brand Manual is a key resource for franchisees both during initial training and for ongoing operations.
