Under what conditions will Crawlspace Medic provide on-site remedial training to the franchisee's personnel?

- 7.5. On-Site Remedial Training. Upon Franchisee's reasonable request or as Franchisor shall deem appropriate, Franchisor shall, during the term hereof, subject to the availability of personnel, provide Franchisee with additional trained representatives who shall provide on-site remedial training and assistance to Franchisee's personnel at the Franchised Business location. For any additional on-site training and assistance, Franchisee shall pay the per diem fee then being charged to franchisees under the System as outlined in the Operations Manual for the services of such trained representatives, plus their costs of travel, lodging, and meals.
- 7.6. Counseling and Assistance. In addition to visits by Franchisor's field representatives, as Franchisor deems appropriate, Franchisor shall, within reasonable limits and subject to the availability of Franchisor's personnel, upon Franchisee's request and at no charge, unless such assistance is provided at the Franchised Business pursuant to Section 7.5, furnish consultation and assistance to Franchisee, either in person or by telephone, video conference, electronic mail or

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, on-site remedial training is available to franchisees under certain conditions. Crawlspace Medic may provide additional trained representatives to offer on-site remedial training and assistance to the franchisee's personnel at the franchised business location if the franchisee makes a reasonable request or if Crawlspace Medic deems it appropriate. This service is subject to the availability of personnel.
For any on-site training and assistance beyond the initial training, the franchisee is responsible for paying a per diem fee. This fee is the standard rate charged to franchisees within the Crawlspace Medic system, as detailed in the Operations Manual. In addition to the per diem fee, the franchisee must also cover the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for the trained representatives providing the on-site support.
Crawlspace Medic also offers counseling and assistance to franchisees. This support includes consultations and advice regarding employee training, marketing, operational issues, purchasing and inventory control, bookkeeping, and system improvements. This counseling can be provided in person, by telephone, video conference, electronic mail, or postal service, depending on Crawlspace Medic's discretion. Unless the assistance is provided at the Franchised Business pursuant to on-site remedial training, this counseling and assistance is offered at no charge to the franchisee.
