What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, remedial on-site training and assistance is provided at the franchisee's premises under two circumstances. First, Crawlspace Medic may provide this training upon the franchisee's request. Second, Crawlspace Medic may provide the training if they determine it to be appropriate.
However, this remedial on-site training comes with a cost. The franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Crawlspace Medic for all costs associated with the trainer's services. These costs include the trainer's per diem fee, as well as all travel-related expenses such as transportation, meals, and lodging.
This arrangement means that while Crawlspace Medic offers support to help franchisees improve their operations, the franchisee must be prepared to cover the expenses associated with receiving that support. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as it ensures that franchisees have a vested interest in making the most of the training and assistance provided.
