After termination of my Crawlspace Medic franchise, does the non-compete apply to other Crawlspace Medic locations?

According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the non-competition covenant extends beyond your specific location after the termination or expiration of your franchise agreement. For a period of 24 months following termination, you are restricted from engaging in any competing business within 25 miles of your former Crawlspace Medic outlet or any other Crawlspace Medic outlet, whether franchised or company-owned.

This post-term non-compete clause prevents you from diverting or attempting to divert customers from any Crawlspace Medic outlet to a competitor. It also restricts you from participating in any capacity, such as an owner, investor, officer, director, employee, or agent, in a competing business.
