What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, upon termination or expiration of the Franchise Agreement, all rights and licenses granted to the franchisee are immediately terminated. This means the franchisee can no longer operate the Crawlspace Medic franchised business.
Specifically, the franchisee must immediately cease operating the franchised business and cannot identify themselves as a current Crawlspace Medic owner, franchisee, or licensee. This prevents any continued association with the brand after the agreement ends.
Furthermore, the franchisee must immediately and permanently stop using the Crawlspace Medic Marks, any imitations of the Marks, the franchisor's designs, copyrighted material, or other intellectual property. This includes refraining from using any trade names, trademarks, service marks, or commercial symbols that suggest an association with Crawlspace Medic or its system. The franchisee must remove all signs, billboards, advertising materials, displays, stationery, and forms that display the Marks, ensuring no further representation of the brand.
