What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic FDD, Social Media Materials are defined as any material on any Social Media Platform that makes use of Crawlspace Medic's Principal Trademarks, name, brand, products or your Franchised Business whether created by Crawlspace Medic, you or a third-party.
Crawlspace Medic requires franchisees to obtain prior written approval before using any Social Media Platform or Social Media Materials. This means that franchisees cannot independently create and post content using Crawlspace Medic's trademarks or branding without the franchisor's permission.
It is important to note that expenditures toward Social Media Platforms and Social Media Materials will not count towards your required Local Advertising expenditures. This means that the minimum amount of $5,000 that Crawlspace Medic requires you to spend every quarter on local advertising, marketing and promotional programs cannot be fulfilled by spending on social media.
