- 12.1.8. Prominently display signs in and upon the Franchised Business location or vehicle using the Marks and/or other advertising and/or signs of such nature, form, color, number, location and size, and containing such material, as Franchisor may from time to time reasonably direct or approve in writing; and to not display in or upon the Franchised Business location, vehicle or elsewhere any sign or advertising media of any kind to which Franchisor reasonably objects, including signs and advertising media which have been outdated. Upon giving Franchisee notice of its objection to same or upon termination hereof, Franchisor may at any time enter upon the Franchised Business location, vehicle or elsewhere and remove any objectionable or non-approved signs or advertising media and keep or destroy same without paying therefor or without being deemed guilty of trespass or any other tort;

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must prominently display approved signs at their business location or vehicle. Crawlspace Medic has the authority to direct or approve the nature, form, color, number, location, size, and content of these signs. Franchisees are prohibited from displaying any sign or advertising media that Crawlspace Medic reasonably objects to, including outdated materials.
Crawlspace Medic retains the right to inspect the franchised business or vehicle to ensure compliance with the franchisor's standards, specifications, and requirements. If any item, including signage, does not meet these standards, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Crawlspace Medic for the inspection costs. This ensures that all Crawlspace Medic locations and vehicles maintain a consistent brand image and adhere to the franchisor's guidelines.
Upon termination of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must immediately cease using the Marks and remove all signs displaying the Marks. Crawlspace Medic has the right to enter the premises to remove any objectionable or non-approved signs or advertising media without compensation or being deemed guilty of trespass. This provision ensures that the franchisee no longer represents Crawlspace Medic after the agreement ends and that all branding elements are removed from the location and vehicle.
