You (if the franchisee is an individual) or the managing member (if the franchisee is a business entity) must also complete our Initial Training Program, to our satisfaction, at least two (2) weeks before opening your Franchised Business. We will train you at our Crawlspace Medic headquarters in Columbia, South Carolina, or another location we specify:

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, if the franchisee is an individual, they must complete the Initial Training Program to the franchisor's satisfaction at least two weeks before opening their franchised business. If the franchisee is a business entity, the managing member must complete the training program.
Crawlspace Medic also requires that the franchisee and up to two employees successfully complete the training program. The training program is conducted at the Crawlspace Medic headquarters in Columbia, South Carolina, or at another location the franchisor designates. The pre-opening training lasts approximately four weeks for the franchisee or operating principal(s) and two weeks for field technicians. This is followed by one week at the franchisee's location within 30 days after opening.
The franchise owner(s) must attend the initial training program, and there is no charge for training up to two additional people as part of the initial fee. If the franchisee does not complete the Pre-Opening Training Program to Crawlspace Medic's satisfaction, Crawlspace Medic reserves the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement.
