limited protected territory and from a single location (the "Franchised Business"). The distinguishing characteristics of a Crawlspace Medic Franchised Business include, but are not limited to, the Crawlspace Medic's distinctive trade dress, proprietary designs and techniques, operations methods, inventory, procedures for management, training, advertising, and promotional programs, all of which may be changed, improved or further developed by us at any time (the "System").

The market for your Crawlspace Medic Franchised Business is made up of residential homeowners as well as commercial apartment complexes.
The market for crawlspace repair and inspection services is developing. You will compete with businesses, including national, regional and local businesses, offering services similar to those offered by your Crawlspace Medic Franchised Business. There are other basement and crawlspace repair franchises, as well as independent businesses throughout the United States, that may offer similar products and services. Your business may also be affected by economic conditions.
Industry Specific Regulations:
Although there are no known national industry specific regulations, you must comply with all local, state and federal laws and regulations that apply to the operation of your Crawlspace Medic Franchised Business, including, among others, business operations, land use, insurance, discrimination, employment and workplace safety laws. Your advertising of the Franchised Business is regulated by the Federal Trade Commission.
