What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, Crawlspace Medic may provide franchisees with samples or camera-ready advertising and promotional materials from time to time, as they become available. This is not a guarantee, but rather something Crawlspace Medic may offer.

Crawlspace Medic also requires franchisees to spend a minimum of $5,000 in Market Introduction advertising and promotional activities during the 60 days prior to and 90 days following the opening of their franchise. Additionally, franchisees must spend a minimum of $5,000 per quarter on local advertising. All advertising materials must be approved by Crawlspace Medic, and approval may be withheld at their discretion. Crawlspace Medic will respond to advertising approval requests within ten business days; otherwise, the material is deemed disapproved.

While Crawlspace Medic does not provide for placement of local advertising, franchisees are responsible for this. Franchisees must list their Crawlspace Medic business in local business directories and may participate in cooperative advertising with other Crawlspace Medic franchisees with prior written approval. Franchisees also need written approval to maintain any business profile on social media sites. These stipulations ensure that Crawlspace Medic maintains control over its brand image and marketing strategies, while also allowing franchisees some flexibility in local advertising efforts.
