According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, the Protected Territory for a Crawlspace Medic franchise is described in Attachment 2 to the Franchise Agreement prior to the purchase of a franchise. In some cases, it may be described prior to the execution of a lease agreement.
The territory is based on the area surrounding the Crawlspace Medic office and includes a minimum population of 50,000 dwellings with crawlspaces or partial basements. The territory will be defined by streets, highways, Zip Codes, or other geographic boundaries. The population figures used to determine the territory size will be based on the most recent U.S. Census data available when the Protected Territory is designated.
This delineation of territory is important for franchisees as it defines the area where they can exclusively operate a Crawlspace Medic outlet. It also determines the area from which the franchisee must derive their revenue to meet the Minimum Performance Requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
