How often does Crawlspace Medic provide its training?

According to Crawlspace Medic's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company provides training on an "as-needed" basis, which typically occurs approximately 4 to 6 times per year, or every 8 to 12 weeks. However, Crawlspace Medic retains the discretion to change the training program at any time.

Prior to opening a Crawlspace Medic franchise, the franchisee and up to two employees must successfully complete the training program. This program is held at the company's headquarters in Columbia, South Carolina, or another designated location. The pre-opening training lasts about four weeks for the franchisee or operating principal(s) and two weeks for field technicians. Following this, there is a one-week on-site training at the franchisee's location within 30 days after opening.

The franchise owner must attend the initial training, and there is no charge for training up to two additional people as part of the initial franchise fee. If the franchisee does not complete the Pre-Opening Training Program to Crawlspace Medic's satisfaction, the company reserves the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. Crawlspace Medic may also conduct mandatory or optional additional training programs, including an annual conference or national business meeting, which franchisees must attend if required.
