We have no obligation to maintain, repair, update or upgrade your computer and software. At your cost, you must provide on-going maintenance and repairs to your computer and software. We cannot estimate the cost of maintaining, updating and upgrading your smart device or computer hardware and software because it will depend on the make and model of your device and computer, repair history, usage, local cost of computer maintenance services in your area and technological advances that we cannot predict.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, Crawlspace Medic has no obligation to maintain, repair, update, or upgrade a franchisee's computer and software. The franchisee is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repairs of their computer and software at their own cost.
The FDD specifies that franchisees are required to use the hardware, software, system tools, and processes as outlined in the Operations Manual. Currently, required hardware includes a desktop or laptop computer, an all-in-one printer/copier/fax/scanner, a high-speed internet tablet computer. Required software includes QuickBooks Accounting Software and Vonigo.
The cost of maintaining, updating, and upgrading these items cannot be estimated by Crawlspace Medic, as it depends on factors such as the make and model of the equipment, repair history, usage, local maintenance service costs, and technological advancements. Franchisees should be prepared to budget for these ongoing technology expenses.
