This indicates that Crawlspace Medic does not require prior specific knowledge for a developer to be assigned the agreement.

The FDD states that the developer acknowledges that such specialized training, trade secrets, and confidential information provide a competitive advantage and will be valuable in the development and operation of Crawlspace Medic outlets. The agreement is made with the developer in reliance on the franchisor's perceptions of the individual and collective character, skill, aptitude, attitude, business ability, and financial capacity of the developer.

However, the franchisor must provide prior written approval for any transfer of the agreement by the franchisee. The proposed transferee must be an individual of good moral character and meet the franchisor's standards for multi-unit franchisees. The transferee must also have sufficient business experience, aptitude, and financial resources to operate multiple Crawlspace Medic outlets and comply with the agreement.
