Developer acknowledges that, pursuant to this Agreement, Developer will receive valuable training, trade secrets and Confidential Information of the System that are beyond the present knowledge, training and experience of Developer.
Developer acknowledges that such specialized training, trade secrets and Confidential Information provide a competitive advantage and will be valuable to him or her in the development and operation of Crawlspace Medic outlets, and that gaining access to such specialized training, trade secrets and Confidential Information is, therefore, a primary reason why Developer is entering into this Agreement.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crawlspace Medic Franchise Disclosure Document, a developer will receive training, trade secrets, and confidential information that may be beyond their current knowledge, training, and experience. Crawlspace Medic emphasizes that this specialized training and information provides a competitive advantage in developing and operating Crawlspace Medic outlets.
Crawlspace Medic developers acknowledge that they have conducted an independent investigation into the financial, operational, and other aspects of developing Crawlspace Medic outlets. Developers also acknowledge that, except as set forth in the Franchise Disclosure Document, Crawlspace Medic has not made any representations of performance (financial or otherwise) and the developer waives any claim against Crawlspace Medic for any business failure they may experience as a developer.
Furthermore, Crawlspace Medic developers must recognize that they will have access to trade secrets, including methods, processes, customer lists, vendor partnerships, sales and technical information, financial data, costs, product prices and names, software tools, website and email design, products, services, equipment, technologies, procedures, manuals, advertising methods, instructional materials, and other confidential information related to Crawlspace Medic outlet operations. Developers are obligated to protect this confidential information and not disclose it to others.
